Canine Coaching Policies |
• Dogs not enrolled in training are not permitted at the training facility. Please leave all other pets at home. If two dogs from the same household are enrolled another handler must be present.
• Dogs must remain on leash at all times unless clients are otherwise instructed.
• Ill and contagious dogs are not permitted at the training facility. In-season females are allowed but we ask that you notify us prior to arrival in case there is intact males in the class as well.
• All vaccinations and/or titres must be up to date according to your veterinarian’s recommendations. Proof must be supplied prior to the start of your first class.
• All behavioural concerns must be disclosed in writing in the questionnaire prior to commencement of training.
• The degree to which a dog is successfully trained is a function of the interest, commitment, and cooperation of the owner. There is no guarantee that a dog will achieve the desired level of training despite the best efforts of the instructor.

Deposit/Payment Policies
• Payment must be received prior to or at the start of the first class unless other arrangements have been made.
• All group classes require a $40 non-refundable deposit to hold your space. Deposits can be transferred to a different class if more than a weeks notice is given.
• All private consults require a $30 non-refundable deposit to hold your space. Deposits can be transferred to a different session if more than a weeks notice is given.
• We travel within 50 km of Bowden at no additional charge. Fee of $0.50/km will be charged for anything over 50 km away from Bowden.
• All group classes require a $40 non-refundable deposit to hold your space. Deposits can be transferred to a different class if more than a weeks notice is given.
• All private consults require a $30 non-refundable deposit to hold your space. Deposits can be transferred to a different session if more than a weeks notice is given.
• We travel within 50 km of Bowden at no additional charge. Fee of $0.50/km will be charged for anything over 50 km away from Bowden.
Cancellation Policies
• Cancellations, in advance of 48hrs, before the start of a set of classes will receive refund (less deposit), or a credit to be applied to a different class if possible.
• To maintain a high level of service we are unable to offer refunds or credit to withdrawals within 48 hours of your session.
• Cancellations, in advance of 24hrs, once a set of classes has already commenced may be rescheduled if possible or a package will be sent discussing what was covered in the missed class.
• In the case of any cancellation on the part of Canine Coaching, the instructor will contact the clients scheduled for the affected session by phone and/or email and the session will be rescheduled.
• No-shows will not be refunded or credited and classes will not be made up.
• Cancellation of Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid classes, with over two weeks notice, will receive a refund, credit or be rescheduled if possible. Any cancellations with less than a two weeks notice are subject to a $35 administration fee. Cancellations with under 48 hrs notice will not be eligible for a refund. lf you are cancelling due to reasons related to COVID-19 please let us know as we will transfer your registration to a future class.

COVID-19 Protocols
In our Facility:
For our WNW Pet First Aid Classes:
- The bathroom will be closed for use at this time (if it is an emergency please ask)
- We are requesting that everyone use the hand sanitizer provided as soon as they enter the training facility
- Please stay in your "assigned" area (we will be marking areas off with tape to ensure everyone is maintaining the appropriate social distance)
- When entering and leaving the facility be respectful of everyone's space (maintain the 6ft provincial guideline for physical distancing)
- There will be no dog to dog interaction at this time to maintain social distancing
For our WNW Pet First Aid Classes:
- We will be following all provincial guidelines to ensure everyone's safety
- All surfaces will be disinfected prior to the class and multiple times throughout the day (such as during breaks)
- Each student will have their own sanitized materials for hands on practice
- Mannequins will be available to practice CPR are and will be sanitized between each student
- Students will have the option of also using the stuffed animal provided to them at the start of class if they are uncomfortable using the mannequins
- Gloves and masks will be provided but are optional for students to wear
