Basic Obedience We will cover a variety of topics, such as: sit, stay, come, heel,
leave it & focus. They will run for 5 weeks. Max 6 people per class. $150/pp We also offer Virtual Basic Obedience! Our Virtual content is the same as all our regular classes but can be done in the comfort of your own home. These classes do follow a timeline and run for 5 weeks. These classes have a rolling start date so that you can sign up when works for you. Feedback and class interaction make these virtual classes just as fun and informative as the in person classes!

Scent Detection (Nosework)Better know as Nose Work is an excellent way to exercise your
Dog's brain. Learn the basics for 5 weeks of fun! $150/pp We also offer Virtual Intro to Scent Detection!

Private ConsultationsThese are private one on one classes. Work closely with Samantha to address the Obedience or Behaviour needs of your Canine Companion.
$50/hr - Obedience Consult $75/hr - Behaviour Consult We also offer phone/skype consults. These follow the same availability as our private consults.

Our Training Philosophy

Our training philosophy here at Canine Coaching is built from many different theories and beliefs. We could write a whole blog on how and why we train the way we do but we have decided to just touch on a few points. We believe in balanced training. This means that while we primarily use positive reinforcement, we are not purely positive, and do believe in certain situations that a correction is required in dog training. We believe each and every dog is different and no one technique will always work because like people dogs learn different and have their own personalities and traits. We believe training should be fun and that building a trusting bond with your dog goes a long way to having a healthy relationship were your dog respects you and wants to be with you. We believe each and every dog is capable of behaving and that training should be part of every dog’s life as it develops the manners we want in our dogs. We proudly serve Central Alberta!
We happily serve the areas of Bowden, Innisfail, Olds, Didsbury, Sundre, Three Hills, Spruce View, Sylvan Lake and Red Deer!
We travel within 20 km of Bowden at no additional charge. ** Fee of $0.58/km will be charged for anything over 20 km away from Bowden ** |
