We run a variety of Scent work classes;
Scent Work Intro Weeknight Classes (5 weeks long, 1 night per week)

Learn about the history and benefits of
Canine Scent Detection. You will be introduced to Wintergreen (Gaultharia procumbens) essential oil odor and by end of these classes your dog should be successful in finding this scent in a variety of applications, such as Container searches, Interior searches and Exterior searches. Designated Odor Tests (DOTs) will be offered at the last class. These are optional but a fun way to earn a certificate and ribbon with your dog! |
These classes are great for student who are familiar with the basics of scent work!
Hides will be a bit more difficult, distractions will be added and you will learn new scents. You will be introduced to Pine (pinus sylvestris) and Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) essential oil odors. Designated Odor Tests (DOTs) will be offered at the last class. These are optional but a fun way to earn a certificate and ribbon with your dog! |
